As you can see, the pigs are cosy in their hut filled with straw. They’ve been busy all summer and fall rooting up the two pastures and are ready to move on. We are keeping the boar for breeding. Half of one of the pigs is available on January 27th. The cost is $375 plus you pay for processing. The benefit to you is pasture-raised, great-tasting pork with no-GMO feed, hormones or antibiotics. Another plus is that you work directly with the butcher to get the cuts of meat and processing that you want. The double-smoked bacon is amazing!!
